Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Clinical Technologist in the location is seeking a skilled professional to perform procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists. This role involves assisting radiologists with procedures, supervising student radiologic technologists, and ensuring patient safety and care during imaging procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting clinical operations and patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Perform procedures following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists. Assist radiologists during procedures, supervise student radiologic technologists, and ensure patient care and safety.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Professionals school, South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification, ARRT Radiography (R) Certification, BLS certification through the American Heart Association, and at least one year of experience in Special Procedures or Vascular Interventional Radiology.
- Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have recent IR/Hybrid OR experience. Demonstrated ability to perform and teach Special Procedures exams, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards are required. Ability to operate standard office and imaging equipment and work effectively in a team environment.
- Submission Requirements: Professional licensure and certification copies as requested, with annual mandatory in-services maintained.
