Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Michigan. This position involves delivering respiratory therapy and patient care in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards. The role includes evaluating patient responses to therapy, providing education, and ensuring equipment maintenance within a clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Certifications: BLS, NBRC, Michigan State Licenses required.
- Education / Experience: 2+ years of Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required.
- Specialty: RT PEDS (Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics).
- Shift Details: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures. Evaluates patient responses, provides staff and patient education regarding respiratory procedures and safety. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and maintains documentation related to work. Submission requirements include verification of experience, specific certifications, and state license.
