Description

Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in the area. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients across multiple units, including NICU and Adult Critical Care. The position supports a small, specialized department and requires flexibility in schedule and location coverage.

Job Details

Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30pm to 7:00am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, and certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT (Preferred), CRT.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in NICU and adult critical care, familiarity with Epic charting system, and trauma level II experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required to other healthcare facilities within the organization.
Additional Information:
- The role involves performing procedures such as intubation assist, airway management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP), and ventilator management, including Weaning from mechanical ventilation.
- Candidates must be flexible with availability, able to work every other weekend, and support holiday coverage with a requirement to work three of five designated holidays.
- Applicants should respond to submission questions regarding previous employment at Providence facilities and provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
- The position may include floating between nearby facilities as needed.
