Job Summary

Interventional Radiology Technician Neuro Experience Evanston, IL. This position involves providing specialized radiological services within the interventional radiology department, with a focus on neuro procedures when applicable. The role requires on-call participation, scrubbing in with Interventional Radiology Medical Doctors for complex procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, full-time (40 hours per week).
• Required Qualifications: IL License, IEMA license, BLS certification, ARRT certification, 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience, and ability to start within two weeks.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred.
• Responsibilities:
  • Scrub in with Interventional Radiology Medical Doctors for complex procedures such as Thrombectomies, Pulmonary embolizations, Uterine Fibroid Embolizations, and Yttrium-90 treatments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for neuro cases with a 30-minute callback and IR body cases with a 45-minute callback.
  • Cover one weekend of on-call (Friday through Sunday) each month and one additional weekend day as a third team member.
  • Ensure timely preparation and assistance during procedures, maintaining clinical standards.
• Orientation: Flexible, preferably on Mondays before start date.
• Submission Requirements: Credentials are due by Thursday prior to the start date.
