• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist license, current BLS and ACLS certification, valid healthcare provider licensure, no minimum experience required, valid for the duration of the assignment.
• Additional responsibilities include evaluating patient respiratory status, operating ventilatory equipment (both invasive and non-invasive), performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, conducting pulmonary function studies, and assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
• Capable of performing chest x-ray reviews, EKGs, arterial puncture, and maintaining detailed treatment records.
• Must follow all policies and procedures related to laboratory testing, equipment maintenance, and infection control.
• Responsible for emergency interventions such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Performs tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube management, and ventilatory support setup and monitoring.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and charges.
• Communication with clinical staff and physicians to optimize patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
