Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient (IP) in a rehabilitation hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, or trauma-related conditions. The position ensures high-quality patient care to facilitate recovery and independence within a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Texas State Rehabilitation Therapist license, BLS certification, 1+ year of experience (no new graduates), inpatient rehab experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro, orthopedic, general medical, amputation, or polytrauma cases.
- Additional Information: Must have a college degree in the field of physical therapy. The role involves working with adult and geriatric inpatient rehabilitation patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, NTBI, SCI, NTSCI, BKA, AKA, GBS, TKR, and THR. The first day requires reporting by 7:00 PM to Christina Warner, Director of Therapy. Scrub color is navy. No float rotation required.
