Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered - RT PEDS Location unspecified. This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gases therapy to patients. The role includes performing diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients, maintaining clinical expertise, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Supervisory duties include directing Respiratory Therapists, orienting externs and students, and documenting patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. - Current registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. - Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan. - BLS certification from AHA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal intensive care experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates should possess skills in respiratory therapy, patient care documentation, supervision, delegation, patient billing, and neonatal experience.
