Job Details
- Position Description: Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering radiation treatments using specialized equipment such as Varian true beam, GE CT Scanner, and identifying systems. The role involves assisting with chart checks, supporting physics coverage, and collaborating with medical staff including radiation oncologists and dosimetrists.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in radiation therapy, Iowa SING background check clearance, Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter certification, 10-panel drug screening including opiates, titers within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB), and at least 1 year of experience in radiation therapy.
- Schedule: Working days shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 8 hours per day with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with adult patients, utilizing advanced radiological equipment, and supporting a team with physicist and dosimetrist onsite. Direct patient care and technical operations are core responsibilities.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to start on Monday or Tuesday, and all onboarding requirements, including background checks and titers, must be completed prior to the start date.
