Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (XRAY TECH) Multiple Locations. This position involves operating radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images, assisting patients through procedures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The role requires adherence to established radiologic requirements and collaboration within a healthcare environment to support patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (ARRT-R); BLS through AHA; Ability to work a 12-hour shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Knowledge of digital radiography (DR) and/or computerized radiography (CR) equipment, techniques, and protocols.
• Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team and independently with a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills required and capable of wearing lead aprons for extended periods.
• Preferred Qualifications: Good to have skills include Level 1 Trauma Experience, Epic system proficiency.
• Responsible for preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and operating radiologic equipment according to protocols.
• Ensures radiation safety, maintains equipment, and documents procedures accurately.
• Supports infection control policies, assists with patient monitoring, and upholds professional standards established by relevant societies.
• Participates in departmental education and quality improvement activities.
• Initiates patient comfort measures, ensures informed consent, and participates in invasive procedures with sterile technique when required.
• Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots equipment malfunctions, and maintains inventory levels.
• Must submit transcripts and contemporary certifications to finalize placement.
