Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient Location unspecified. This position involves providing physical therapy services within an inpatient acute care hospital setting. The role requires a self-motivated and independent therapist capable of delivering high-quality patient care across multiple units, including medical, surgical, and inpatient rehabilitation services.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission; at least 1 year of experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or inpatient rehab settings; certifications in BLS and PTAS are required.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Position Description: Provide inpatient physical therapy for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapy programs, utilizing skills in gait training, assistive devices, mobility, and patient education. Therapists must be capable of working independently, with the ability to float between units as needed.
  • Additional Information: Candidates will see between 8-10 patients per day, need to have acute care experience, and should be motivated, conscientious, and able to fit within a dedicated staff team. Additional patient diagnoses include COPD, dementia, post-op surgical care, and more. Orientation hours are 16. Candidates must be flexible to work a rotation that includes weekends and holidays as required.
