Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility location. This role involves supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses by performing and analyzing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. The technologist employs technical expertise, patient interaction skills, and adherence to protocols to deliver safe, precise treatment under supervision. The position is scheduled for days, with a typical shift of 10 hours, and requires a commitment to patient safety, technical proficiency, and collaboration across disciplines.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts during daytime hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT or RCIS accepted. Education requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience in the interventional cardiac catheterization lab, with preferential experience in structural heart procedures. Valid license for the relevant state with verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal diagnostic catheterizations, equipment setup, fluoroscopy, and advanced procedures such as IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and left heart catheterization.
  • Additional Information: The role involves accurate monitoring, equipment setup, performing various interventional cardiac procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. The candidate must complete orientation modules, which are non-billable, with an expected 1-5 hours spent on e-learning modules. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience and provide references within the last year. The assignment duration is from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
