Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, CPR Certification, 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience, and the ability to work several days per week with 8-hour shifts totaling at least 40 hours weekly.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Completes comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Performs timely and accurate medical record documentation, including goal setting, functional assessments, and charge entry, in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
• Participates in student programs, providing supervision and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Creates and pursues a professional development plan through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance parameters, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes all mandated continuing education requirements.
• Demonstrates understanding of performance improvement processes to enhance quality of services and actively participates in organizational initiatives.
• Adheres to safety protocols addressing patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infectious disease protocols, and slips/trips and falls prevention.
