Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Technologist in an organization providing specialized radiographic procedures. This position involves performing interventional and special radiographic procedures in a clinical setting, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Candidates will need to demonstrate substantial knowledge of physiology, anatomy, diagnostic equipment, radiation safety, and infection control.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Will consider 16, 20, or 26-week assignments for new Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Technologists. The work schedule includes 10-hour days with start times at 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM, with 40 hours per week on rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Required Qualifications: Radiography Registry (R) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); two or more years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures; hybrid Interventional radiology experience preferred; Cardiac Interventional or vascular interventional registry by ARRT or eligible with registry within six months; Connecticut State license to practice radiography; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology procedures and registry in cardiac or vascular interventions.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours weekly, with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Additional Information: Mandatory Overtime: During personnels assignment with the organization, the technologist is considered part of the unit and may be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
