Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location unspecified. This role involves evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directions. The position requires serving as an educator and providing discipline-specific therapy services to facilitate effective patient recovery and community reintegration.

Job Details

• Position Description: Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician directives. Responsible for delegation and supervision of therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and educating patients, families, and colleagues. Performs professional duties associated with patient care, therapy service development, and program design. Demonstrates behaviors aligned with organizational Mission Statement and Core Values, including safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CPR Certification; 6 months to 1+ Year of outpatient clinical experience; Outpatient experience; Experience requirement: 0 years.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Completes comprehensive evaluations, develops appropriate treatment goals focused on discharge within established length of stay, and ensures accurate medical record documentation. Participates in student programs, pursues ongoing professional development, and maintains licensure in good standing. Adheres to state practice acts, regulatory standards, and organizational performance improvement initiatives.
