Job Summary
MRI Technologist - MRI Specialty Columbia, MD. The MRI Technologist will perform professional duties involving the preparation and acquisition of magnetic resonance images under the supervision of the radiologist and the administrative director. This role involves delivering high-quality imaging services while providing care activities in the presence of patients in a hospital setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/20/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or an approved magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technical program; 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital setting; valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with a highly preferred (MR) credential or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification with current registration; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) certification.
- Additional Information: Performs professional duties involving magnetic resonance imaging under limited direction, with work related to proper image acquisition. Contact with internal colleagues involves exchanging factual information. Contact with external contacts involves providing or obtaining factual information. Courtesy and tact are essential in dealings with others.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must verify prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities, if applicable, and disclose this information.
