Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician Plano, TX. This position involves performing interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging services, maintaining safety standards, and providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs IR procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, assisting physicians with diagnostics and injury assessments in accordance with established protocols.
- Certifications/Education/Experience: BLS (AHA Only), ARRT, VI certification; 0 years minimum experience in IR; experience scrubbing Neuro IR cases.
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, days, with rotating days off, from 0700 to 1730. Call shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday from 1730 to 0700, and Saturday & Sunday from 0700 to 0700, averaging about 10 call shifts per month.
- Additional Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensure safety and infection control standards, maintain documentation, and ensure equipment functionality.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro IR cases.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
