Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: Not specified. This role involves evaluating and developing treatment plans for adult and pediatric patients to improve function and prevent disability. The position requires delivering diagnostic tests, administering therapeutic modalities, and ensuring effective communication with patients and other healthcare providers.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current BLS certification; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Schedule: Rotating shift with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, establishing appropriate treatment programs, conducting diagnostic tests, administering therapy, and documenting patient care and progress.
• Provides instruction in therapeutic procedures for patients and families, assists in training new personnel, and maintains compliance with departmental policies and safety standards.
• Engages in professional development through participation in approved education programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
• Maintains daily records of patient activity and charges, and performs other related duties as assigned.
