Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (Ultrasound Technologist) position located in a large trauma level Facility. The assignment involves performing maternal fetal medicine ultrasound scans, including OB/GYN, early dating OB, and possibly GYN scans, with the opportunity to see up to 8 patients daily. The role begins on 10/05/2026 and is expected to last approximately 16 weeks, with potential extension. The position requires working days with a schedule of 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts; Monday to Sunday; minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential; prior travel experience; at least 2 years of experience; large, teaching hospital experience; experience in OB/GYN to include fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, HyCoSy; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Additional Information:
    • IVS to offer.
    • No block schedules for any reason.
    • Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays, with the next available on 10/19.
    • Candidates must explain all employment gaps over 90 days.
    • All work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) are required for submission.
    • Public transportation is not accessible; reliable personal transportation or rental vehicle recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
