Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer in Jacksonville UF Health Jacksonville's Perinatal Diagnostic Program is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join their high-risk obstetrics outpatient clinic. The role involves performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment, with a focus on both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients.

Job Details

  • Position: Ultrasonographer Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including Fridays from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Required Qualifications: RDMS Certification (OB/GYN); minimum two years of OB/GYN sonography experience; at least two years of clinical experience; minimum one-year experience in obstetric ultrasound; adult patient care experience; strong OB/GYN sonography experience; comfortable working in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment
  • Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echo Certification (preferred but not required)
  • Experience: No prior travel experience required
  • Additional Information:
    • The technician will work primarily with obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging using standard sonography practices.
    • The outpatient clinic features six exam rooms, with a patient volume of 8 to 10 patients per sonographer daily.
    • Orientation includes three days of unit-specific training.
    • Any requested time off should be disclosed at submission, as approval after submission is not guaranteed.
    • Candidates will participate in an interview process requiring a unit manager interview.
    • Florida AHCA Level 2 screening may take up to 14 business days.
    • Seasonal influenza vaccination exemption requests are permitted; exemption forms must be submitted if applicable.
