Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist (RTT) position in Wichita. This role involves administering radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. The Radiation Therapist will prepare and position patients, select anatomical parameters, and collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver appropriate treatment plans while maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions. The position requires ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards, maintaining equipment such as linear accelerators, and supporting a safe and organized department environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license or certification in radiation therapy, minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist, related educational background, and location eligibility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with advanced radiation systems such as CyberKnife, knowledge of regulatory and safety standards, and proficiency in image quality management
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for preparing patients, selecting treatment parameters, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all documentation and images are accurately submitted to PACS. Clinical duties include maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
