Job Summary
Xray Technologist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves providing diagnostic imaging services primarily in inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and bedside settings. The role offers the opportunity to work in either operating room or fluoroscopy environments, supporting high-quality patient care at a busy healthcare facility.
Job Details
- Position: Xray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with a 7/70 schedule (7 days on, 7 days off) and guaranteed 70 hours biweekly, with overtime available after 72 hours worked per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Radiology) registration; Wisconsin State Licensed Radiographer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification; Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; at least 2 years of experience in the specialty area; able to work independently.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or related field.
- Additional Information: The candidate should be skilled with Siemens Multix plain film equipment, GE and Carestream portables, GE OEC C-arm, Orthoscan mini c-arm, and Siemens Agile fluoroscopy systems. Must have knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures, with experience in equipment operation and maintenance. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, physicians, and team members. Physical ability to lift, position patients, and stand for extended periods.
- Interview Days: Monday through Friday.
- Shift Notes: 2nd shift with specific hours of 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
