Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in Lewiston, ME. This position involves providing ultrasound imaging services across various patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires working independently with a team, performing specialized procedures, and supporting clinical care at a Level 3 Trauma facility.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS, ARRT Sonography/RDMS RDMS certifications; no minimum experience required but 2 years preferred; general studies, vascular, and obstetrics experience needed.
- Schedule: Variable shifts 40 hours per week, mainly Friday through Monday, with shifts typically 10 hours.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work independently; ultrasound procedures include abdominal, pelvic, ectopic, scrotal, thyroid, carotid, paracentesis, FNA, thoracentesis, and OB. Responsible for writing preliminary notes; work supported by Sonographers and Radiologists. Preference for no more than two weeks offer during contract period.
