Job Summary
Mammographer in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing diagnostic and screening mammography exams, stereo biopsies, and other related procedures using digital mammography equipment. The role supports outpatient and inpatient services, primarily serving adult and geriatric patient populations, with a focus on quality assurance and patient safety protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8 per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment starts on 10/05/2026 and ends on 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in ARRT (Mammography), ARRT (Registered Technologist), BLS; valid state license (compact license accepted); at least 1 year of mammography experience; experience with digital mammography, stereo biopsies, and quality assurance procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hologic 3D, PACS, Synapse, management/lead experience, and teaching breast self-exams (BSE).
- Additional Information: The role includes performing specialized mammography screens, diagnostic exams, stereo biopsies, and utilizing advanced equipment such as Hologic 3D systems. Moderate interdisciplinary support from Radiology is involved, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. The candidate may need to float between nearby facilities as required.
