Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist,CRT position in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves facilitating and administering respiratory care, including routine and complex procedures, across multiple hospital units. The healthcare provider seeks a qualified professional skilled in pediatric critical care and capable of supporting a diverse patient population from neonates to adolescents. The position requires adherence to quality standards and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 1830-0630, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid and active State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); BLS certification from the American Heart Association; PALS certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist, including at least two (2) years in pediatric critical care; Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience is strongly preferred; willingness and ability to float to different units within the hospital.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care and Emergency/Trauma experience.
  • Additional Information: Orientation and training will be conducted at the main campus. The position requires compliance with flu vaccination policies during the seasonal period, with masking protocols in place for unvaccinated staff. The assignment involves floating between multiple hospital campuses as needed.
