Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in an acute care setting. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The position requires strong pediatric and adult critical care experience, and the candidate will be working nights with a schedule of 3 shifts per week, each lasting 12 hours. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/28/2026 and will last approximately 20 weeks, ending on 02/01/2027.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 19:00 to 07:30
• Schedule: Other
• Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), CPI certification (online version only accepted), at least 2 years of pediatric and adult critical care experience, willingness to float within scope as needed, and minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric and neonatal respiratory procedures, including ABG draws, ventilator management, intubation, and advanced airway management.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable working with all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include respiratory assessments, ventilator management, ABG sampling, and adherence to unit protocols. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and rapid response teams. The daily census averages 40 patients.
• Travel and onboarding requirements: Must be comfortable floating within scope, with compliance documentation required five days prior to start.
