Description
Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient (SLP OP) in the outpatient setting. This position involves evaluating and treating patients with speech and swallowing disorders, including conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS). The role requires recent experience, licensure, and certification in speech therapy, with responsibilities centered on patient assessments and therapy implementation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 36 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026 and ending 03/29/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a Speech Therapist; American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competency; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least one year of recent experience in speech therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, and execution of MBSS procedures. The attire includes navy tops and beige bottoms. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner. There is one position available for contract replacement.
