Description

Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic care is sought for a location within the area. The position involves providing therapeutic services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The role aims to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve optimal functional recovery through evidence-based treatment and manual therapy techniques.

Job Details

Schedule: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program; Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility); American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient orthopedic experience; manual therapy experience
Additional Information: The candidate will evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver one-on-one care, utilize manual therapy techniques, educate patients and families, document care using electronic medical records, collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team, and participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives.
