Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical Technician (IR CL) Plano, TX. This position involves supporting a busy interventional radiology unit, with responsibilities including assisting with neuro interventional procedures, trauma cases, and IR body cases. The role requires collaborating with a team of nurses and technologists and providing excellent patient care during a standard daytime shift.

Job Details:

  • Location: The healthcare provider requires the candidate to work in a unit housing 3 suites with 10 staff members, including 6 registered nurses and 4 technologists.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Candidates must have neuro interventional experience, Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience, and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vascular intervention registry, Meditech electronic medical record system, and Phillips equipment is preferred.
  • Additional Information: On-call responsibilities average 13 days per month, including 1-2 weekends. Call teams consist of 2 technologists and 2 nurses per day. The unit performs procedures such as thrombectomies, coilings, MMA embolizations, spinal angiograms, IR body cases, trauma angiograms, and more. Candidates should be team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable with call responsibilities.
