Description
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in an acute care setting located within a short-term facility. The role involves providing advanced magnetic resonance imaging services across various units, with requirements for Epic electronic charting system experience. This position requires flexibility to float between units as needed and working primarily on day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Certifications: ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Education/Experience: 0 years of experience required, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Required Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and 2 GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T MRI systems and Epic charting system familiarity; at least 1 year of experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience within an acute care or trauma level I/II environment; prior travel experience preferable
- Special Requirements: Must be proficient in Epic electronic medical record system, possess Siemens MRI system experience, and be available for on-call duties once a week from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Additional Information: Will be required to work three of the five designated holidays and adhere to specific scheduling and RTO requests submitted upfront
- Responsibilities include performing specialized MRI procedures, following safety protocols, and ensuring quality imaging and documentation
