Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a regional healthcare provider. The position involves performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology studies in a short-term acute care setting. The role requires ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts during days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: One year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, current certifications as listed, valid licenses as specified, and at least one year of recent clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with all diagnostic procedures, PCI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman), and electrophysiology evaluations.
• Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, mapping, stent placement, cardioversion, conduction studies, impella insertion, pacemaker procedures, left heart catheterization, and rotational atherectomy.
• The candidate must be able to scrub, maintain sterile fields, perform EKG lead placement, and participate in all procedural activities relevant to the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Candidates must be available for on-call duties, including one call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
• Educational modules are part of onboarding, requiring completion prior to start.
• References: Two references covering one year within the last three years are required, including previous charge or lead roles if applicable.
• Travel experience is required, with restrictions to only one Providence facility at a time and adherence to local radius limits.
• All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included with the application; post-offer, RTO requests may not be granted.
• Candidates who have worked at a Providence facility previously must include details of that employment.
