Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position in Derry, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting a catheterization laboratory within a healthcare organization that specializes in cardiac procedures. The technologist will assist with heart catheterizations, Pacemaker implants, and related high-volume cardiac interventions, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Technologist (RT) and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certifications, NH State Imaging License, BLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or a high-volume lab.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, experience with STEMI percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), IVUS, balloon pump, Penumbra procedures, and assisting with electrophysiology (EP) and pacemaker implant procedures.
- Additional Information: The facility has one cardiac catheterization lab and performs low-level electrophysiology procedures. The team supports a STEMI PCI program with approximately 10-15 days of call and participation in weekends, with staffing adjusted accordingly. The hospital has received a Grade A health rating for cardiology and values candidates with experience with advanced equipment and technology, as well as a collaborative team environment.
