Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in a high-volume, fast-paced echo department. This role involves performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including TEE, exercise stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echo, utilizing equipment such as Philips brand echo machines and reporting through EPIC, CUPID, and TOM TECH systems. The position requires flexibility to work day shifts, weekends, evenings, and on-call rotations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts with variable start and end times, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call weeknights and weekends; weekly minimum of 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience required; certifications including ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer); valid ND State License; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: 4-5 years of echocardiography experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
- Certifications: ARDMS or RCS.
- Additional Information: Must have experience performing adult echo procedures such as Definity and Agitated Saline, and equipment includes Philips EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50 echo machines. The department requires the ability to perform TEE, exercise stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echo, with experience in adult studies preferred. The department primarily conducts bedside procedures, and there may be opportunities to float to other units.
