Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in a healthcare facility with a focus on interventional cardiology and radiology procedures. The role involves providing technical support and assistance during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. The technologist performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties, prepares patients, and maintains all pertinent procedural information, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and protocols.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology; at least 2 years' experience in diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exam eligibility at time of hire; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; demonstrated clinical competence in basic cardiac physiology and pathology, 12-Lead EKG interpretation, physiologic monitoring, pacemaker operations, and radiographic equipment related to cardiac care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Four years of experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology; ARRT with Advanced Level Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
- Additional Information: The role involves call requirements, including potential weekend shifts, and floating to other units/departments as needed. Orientation includes department-specific and general training. The position supports a new service line with an anticipated start-up date and training completion scheduled prior to start. Equipment utilized includes clinical radiography and physiologic monitoring devices, with charting performed via EPIC.
