Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo - Echo Technician located in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures and supporting clinical teams to aid in patient diagnosis and care. The role requires a high level of technical skill and adherence to safety and procedural standards within the specialty.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, varies, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty; should be RDCS and RVT certified. Certifications include: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from CCI. Additional credential in one of the following: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS; Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI; or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RS) through ARRT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must work two major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, along with one minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. The position is open to candidates outside a 50-mile radius.
