Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position in a healthcare setting. This role involves performing and processing radiographic (including portables) and fluoroscopic radiology tests. The technician will operate all related equipment, obtain diagnostic images, and assist with various clinical tasks to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program; one year of experience as a radiology technician; current certification as a radiology technician; meets the American Heart Association (AHA) standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years; basic computer operational skills; strength to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients and equipment; ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude under stress; ability to hear verbal communications, read and interpret orders, and document data correctly.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of all radiology equipment and transfer of images to Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS); familiarity with aseptic technique during surgical tests; experience with clinical and administrative support tasks.
• Additional Information: Performs radiological tests as scheduled, assists with office and clinical functions, monitors equipment and supplies, and maintains confidentiality of patient and clinical records. Coordinates with clinical staff to provide coverage and support various operational needs, including room turnovers and supply management.
