Job Summary:
Polysomnographer (Polysomnography) in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves performing sleep studies, monitoring patients using specialized sleep equipment, and adhering to clinical protocols. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekend coverage and holiday shifts, to support sleep study services across adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS; current Polysomnography license; at least 1 year of experience in sleep studies; experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Respiratory Events, PSG scoring, and sleep equipment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sleep equipment such as ResMed; familiarity with hospitals or outpatient sleep facilities is a plus.
• Additional Information: Position requires float capabilities between units; candidates must be willing to work up to three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Candidates must hold a valid state license, preferably a compact license. The position involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations, with a patient census typically around 15 per day.
