Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer position available in a healthcare location. The role involves performing mammography screenings, diagnostic exams, stereo biopsies, and utilizing specialized equipment such as 3D mammography and stereotactic biopsy tools. This position requires attention to patient care, safety procedures, and teamwork within the radiology department to deliver quality imaging services to adult and geriatric patient populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 1 year of experience in mammography, certification in ARRT Mammography (ARRT M*) and ARRT Registration (ARRT R*), BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital mammography, stereotactic biopsies, management/lead experience, and proficiency with PACS systems such as Epic, Synapse, or Hologic.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work 7-day assignments with possible holiday shifts, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. Candidate responses to prior work at a healthcare facility and references are required during submission. The role may involve floating between nearby facilities and performing mandated modules prior to start.
