Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in a radiology department specializing in MRI imaging. The role involves performing MRI scans in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring accurate imaging procedures, and following department protocols. The position is located in an acute care setting, requiring the technician to operate advanced imaging equipment and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: 10-hour night shifts every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with every other Thursday, including call responsibilities typically one night per week and one weekend per month.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR); minimum 2 years' experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience operating GE MRI scanners, ability to start IVs, familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Additional Information: Department has one GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner. MRI Technologist will be responsible for approximately 30 scans per day. The role requires completing department-specific orientation, adhering to hospital policies including scrubs dress code (black pants, royal blue top), and participating in holiday and weekend coverage. Clinicians must be in the state during the week of orientation, even if modules are remote. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
