Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo position is located in Temple, TX. This role involves performing basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound services for adult patients, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. The position requires the ability to prepare equipment, assist physicians, and analyze imaging data to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 0730-1630, with a total of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA only) certification, RDCS or RCTS certification, 3-5 years of experience at a level 1 cardiac facility specializing in ECMO, Impella, TAVR, LVAD procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of complex sonographic principles and cardiac anatomy, ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team, familiarity with infection control protocols and medical terminology.
• Additional Information: The candidate will assist in performing transesophageal studies, prepare patients and review clinical histories to ensure comprehensive echocardiograms, and maintain equipment and documentation to support quality standards. Flexibility with protocols as new technology evolves is expected.
