Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatrics specializing in critical care will provide specialized respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including neonates through geriatrics. Based in a healthcare facility serving the Four Corners region, this role involves managing various respiratory modalities and supporting multiple rapid response and trauma teams during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NM state licensure, Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, BLS, ACLS, with at least 2 years of critical care experience, including pediatric care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is preferred, with knowledge of pediatric diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Experience: Two or more years of critical care experience, with occasional need for general pediatric care.
- Additional Information: Occasional need for general pediatric care; familiarity with respiratory equipment such as PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Resperonics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow.
