Description
Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is located in a community-serving healthcare facility. This role involves providing respiratory care services to a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients, within a critical care or ICU setting. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 weekly hours
- Required Qualifications: NM state licensure, Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric experience, 2 or more years of experience, two-year Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy, valid State of New Mexico License
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience, critical care or ICU experience
- Additional Information: Occasional need for general pediatric care; equipment used includes PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Respironics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow; the role involves caring for a patient population from newborn to geriatric.
