Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in a medical facility located in the San Juan River Valley, providing treatment for geriatric and adult patient populations. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art radiation oncology department, utilizing Varian TruBeam systems to deliver cancer treatments. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to comprehensive cancer care in a community that features numerous outdoor attractions and a welcoming environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Facility in the San Juan River Valley, northwest New Mexico
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: NM state license, ARRT (T) certification, BLS from American Heart Association, 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, education from an accredited radiation therapy program
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Varian TruBeam systems, radiation oncology protocols for cancer treatment
- Additional Information:
- Position involves caring for geriatric and adult patients undergoing cancer treatment
- Equipment used includes Varian Edge LINAC
- Must be flexible to work with treatment plans for diverse patient needs
