Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (Specialty: Acute Rehab) located in the Central Oregon region. This position involves providing inpatient speech therapy services to adult patients with neurological, trauma, or other pertinent diagnoses, within a team environment. The role offers an opportunity to work in a renowned outdoor destination with a focus on patient care and rehabilitation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist, appropriate educational credentials, and eligibility to practice in the state. No prior experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute rehabilitation settings and familiarity with adult neurogenic and trauma populations is preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit has 13 beds, expanding to 25, serving adult patients aged 18 and older with diagnoses such as cerebrovascular accident (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), neurological disorders, and trauma. The patient-to-therapist ratio is maintained to ensure quality care. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork and flexibility, with a preference for those able to carry a full caseload.
