Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) for a healthcare organization located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This position involves working in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a busy Labor and Delivery Unit. The role requires providing respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients, with responsibilities that include floating to related units such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Emergency Department, Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical Surgical. The position involves night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation, with a focus on delivering high-quality respiratory support in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification verification, relevant professional experience of at least 1 year, and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a Level III NICU and experience floating to pediatric and adult units are preferred
• Additional Information: The role involves working during night shifts with ongoing rotation for weekends and holidays. Candidates should be adaptable to float to various units including PICU, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Adult ICU, and Medical Surgical. The position requires compliance with all unit-specific protocols and standards.
