Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in a radiation therapy setting. This position involves performing radiation and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. The role requires operating specialized equipment such as TRUEBEAM / VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC systems, with experience highly preferred. The job is full-time, scheduled during daytime hours, with a start date of October 5, 2026, and a projected end date of January 2, 2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree; MRT License in the state of Texas; RRT License in the state of Texas; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Radiation Therapist certification; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TRUEBEAM / VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC systems highly preferred
• Responsibilities:
  • Provides quality patient care related to the patient's prescribed diagnosis and treatment plan
  • Administers prescribed courses of radiation therapy, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety protocols
  • Maintains accurate treatment records and prepares operational reports as required
  • Responsible for proper storage, supply management, and equipment maintenance
• Additional Information: The position involves working with OP and occasional IP patients, performing 1520 procedures per machine, with 23 simulations per day. The start date is ASAP.
