Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) specializing in inpatient rehabilitation is sought for a position in a facility located in Oklahoma City. The role involves providing occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic injuries, amputations, and neurological conditions. The position offers a focus on therapy with advanced tools and a supportive environment to promote patient recovery outside the traditional hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro-rehabilitation or orthopedic therapy is preferred but not mandatory
- Additional Information: The facility features specialized therapy equipment, including high-tech devices such as robotic arm therapy systems, and offers a private, family-friendly environment designed to support adult and geriatric patient populations. The position requires reporting by 8:00 am upon reporting, with parking available at non-marked physician or handicap spaces.
