Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Laboratory (CL) Technologist position based in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves working within an interventional radiology unit, supporting procedures such as neurointerventional radiology, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, embolizations, and other vascular interventions. The technologist will be responsible for assisting during complex procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining operational efficiency in a high-volume, technologically advanced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Candidates must have previous interventional radiology experience, including scrubbing and circulating, with neurointerventional radiology background preferred. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS). No minimum years of experience specified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vascular procedures, cath lab experience, and vascular interventional (VI) registrant status.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit features two single-plane (GE) and two biplane (Philips) rooms, with an invasive computed tomography scanner.
    • EMR system used is Cerner (Radnet).
    • Candidates should be flexible and a great team player, capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment.
    • The position involves supporting complex vascular and neurointerventional procedures, including dialysis work, arteriograms, embolizations, TIPS, Y-90, and cerebral interventions.
    • The assignment duration is from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026, with a weekend and on-call schedule approximately every 7th weekend and one secondary call during the week.
