Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare setting, responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients. This 13-week assignment involves providing intensive respiratory treatments, patient assessments, and education under minimal supervision. The role requires evaluating patient needs, operating ventilatory and monitoring equipment, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), current pediatric licensure, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, conducting pulmonary function studies, assisting with invasive procedures, monitoring and recording patient responses, and ensuring equipment functionality. Candidates must follow all policies related to laboratory testing, perform CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines, and accurately document all treatments and patient interactions.
