Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient in a facility setting. This position involves providing rehabilitative care for patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac, stroke, orthopedics, neuro, and medsurg cases. The role requires working four 10-hour day shifts per week, with responsibilities spanning inpatient rehabilitation services.

Job Details:

• Shift: 10-hour days, with four shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Schedule: 4 days per week, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), COVID-19 vaccination, valid license to submit, at least 2 years of experience in the specialty, with a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitative care.
• Additional Information:
  • No floating required; staff for PT is covered 7 days a week.
  • Staff may work every third weekend or possibly every other weekend, including scheduled holiday rotations.
  • Orientation includes 8 hours specific to all modalities.
  • Common patient diagnoses include cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and medsurg cases.
  • No NICU or pediatrics experience necessary; neonatal ICU and pediatrics are low volume.
  • Charting is done using Cerner electronic medical record system.
  • This role does not involve first-time traveler status.
