Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) position is based in a healthcare facility serving diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including medication management, clinical dosing, therapeutic monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and medication accuracy.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience, valid state or compact pharmacy license, certifications including BLS, PharmD, RPh, and Inpatient Infusion
- Certifications: BLS, PharmD, RPh, Inpatient Infusion
- Skills: Antibiotics, Anticoagulation therapy, Bone and joint, Cardiac dosing, Cardiovascular, Clinical dosing, Compounding, Dermatologic, Endocrine, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Geriatric dosing, Hematologic, High-alert medications, Immunologic, Infectious disease, Inpatient / Acute care, IV Piggyback, IV push medications, Neurologic, Oncologic, Pediatric dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing, Prepacking, Psychiatric, Psychotherapeutic Management, Pulmonary, Pyxis, Renal, Renal dosing, Rheumatologic, Sterile Technique, Therapeutic med monitoring, Warfarin Dosing
- Travel Experience Required: No
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Start Date: 10/06/2026
- End Date: 01/05/2027
- Onboarding: Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing; modules are completed onsite during orientation.
- State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
- All RTO must be listed at the time of submittal.
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
